Day 2: Calculated metrics and blended analysis

  • Using arithmetic, CASE expressions and conditional categorisation
  • Applying date functions for period comparisons and reporting periods
  • Handling null values, zero denominators and aggregation mismatches
  • Data blending concepts, join keys and join configuration
  • Building blended views from campaign, spend and conversion datasets
  • Testing calculated metrics against source-data totals

Day 3: Dashboard design and analytical storytelling

You should be able to work confidently with spreadsheet-style data and understand basic measures such as totals, averages, percentages and filters. Prior Looker Studio experience is not required, but this is not a general introduction to data literacy or spreadsheet basics.
